USB Drive

Ennova Direct has introduced a new USB drive which promises to become the industry standard as far as portable drives’ security and privacy are concerned.

The new USB flash drive, which is scheduled to be launched on the market by the first quarter of 2010, aside from featuring a retractable and protected USB plug, is equipped with an OLED screen, which conceals a miniature fingerprint biometric scanner.

In order to access the data contained on the drive, all you have to do is put your finger on the OLED screen, and when the scanner recognizes your fingerprint, the screen will change color to signal that access is granted, and you will be able to normally use your drive.
Furthermore, the OLED display also acts as an interactive interface which allows the user to set up different levels of access to the files stored.

With the increase of available memory space up to 64 gigabytes and more, this means of storage is gaining popularity as an external backup drive, which also increases potential danger for security and privacy of the stored data. Therefore, it is absolutely vital to pay particular attention to protection of these data from unauthorized access.

This USB drive is also equipped with a protective shell, which keeps the USB connector, the OLED screen and the biometric scanner safe from rain, dust and any accidental events which may prove fatal when dealing with such tiny and delicate devices.
